Duchy Inventories completes property inspections for the residential lettings industry.  Reports are compiled and presented to the highest standards and in accordance with the codes of conduct laid down by Propertymark ARLA Inventories (previously APIP).

Our approach to service provision is reactive, with an extremely high level of attention given to customer service. The information provided within our documentation is both clear and accurate. We are fully insured, holding Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance. Duchy Inventories holds full membership of Propertymark ARLA Inventories (see link to website above) Our membership number is M0205690.

All inspections are completed by  persons who have passed the NFoPP Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Inventory Management & Practice and reports are written up by the person who carried out the inspection. The proprietor has a number of years experience within the corporate relocation industry and over that time, has gained an in depth knowledge as to the types of evidence that mediation services consider when settling disputes. This knowledge is always utilised during inspections and the compilation of reports in order to ensure that a fair level of compensation can be claimed by the Landlord at the end of the tenancy. 

There is considerable evidence to suggest that using an independent source to collate information and report on a property's conditions at the commencement and end of a tenancy maximises the chance of this evidence being given validity when dilapidation claim disputes are being settled. Furthermore, where clear indisputable evidence and recording are in place, disputes are much less likely to need to go to mediation. We believe that Duchy Inventories are perfectly placed to assist in making sure that settlements are reached in a speedy and fair manner.

Deposits for all Assured Shorthold Tenancies that started after 6 April 2007 must be placed in a Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme.
